Sofitel, Denarau Fiji
The Sofitel at Denarau island in Nadi, Fiji, needed an event photographer to record a three day event. Focused on food; this was a special members of the Accor Hotel goup program. The first evening was a beach party held at their beautiful private club : The Waitui beach club. The second day was a cocktail reception, followed by a local speciality; a lovo ( banquet cooked in the ground for half a day), feet in the sand, while watching a Fijian Meke (a traditional combination of dance and story-telling through songs). The final night was at the high end “V” restaurant for a sumptuous meal created by the famous Fiji based chef Lance Seeto.
There I was: documenting the highlights and in-between moments, telling the story of the day.
