Cat photography
Written By Jan Dunlop
I got a huge assignment a while back, cat photography. I photographed a kitten without a tail (manx) wrestling, a magnificent white Burmilla (wondered if he wasn’t a white tiger!), a cat with almost no nose (a Persian Himalayan Blue Point), an old Siamese cuddling Eeyore the donkey and more…
There was a cat who just wanted to keep eating biscuits and Ragdolls who modelled and gave me heaps of different poses.
Overall it was a lot of fun and challenging in it’s own original way. It made for a great experience.
It was lots of fun doing something totally new. The owners were lovely to meet, very kind and they all loved my work. I learnt so much about photographing pets and look forward to my next pet assignment.
