Capturing Essence: A Portrait Session with Cevie, the Energy Healer
Cevie, an energy healer based in California, discovered my portrait work and reached out for a unique session during her holiday in Fiji. Drawn to the natural beauty of the Sheraton Denarau, we embarked on a portrait adventure that beautifully blended greenery backgrounds and seascapes.
Cevie’s profound bond with nature emphasized the importance of the outdoor setting. Given my preference for wild spaces as well, the Sheraton Denarau offered a great canvas. The lush greenery and expansive seascapes served as the perfect backdrop for a session that would intimately capture Cevie’s essence.
Throughout the series, one can’t help but notice Cevie’s profound connection with trees. Each image is a testament to her affinity with nature, showcasing the organic synergy between her and the surrounding environment. The portraits beautifully encapsulate the serene energy she emanates.

Having recently undergone significant personal growth, she was on the brink of unveiling her new website—a reflection of the transformed “New Cevie.” The session became a celebration of this fresh version of herself, a visual narrative of self-discovery and renewal.
