Magical family shoot in Piha & Karekare
Everybody knows how stunning NZ beaches are. Baby Aïnoha’s family visited NZ from France for the holidays. After a month of exploring and Aïnoha’s spoken language improving immensely, they decided to immortalise this beautiful trip with a family photo session. We went to the Piha and Karekare beaches out in West Auckland where we had such an amazing time.
The wonderful jewels world of Laura
After some long studies in International Relations between France, Australia, Bolivia and China, Laura has worked several years in the international business industry. But after 5 years in this corporate job she realized something was missing. She felt a vital need to move on towards a career which made more sense to her. After a skills assessment she got the confirmation that she needed a career change. Becoming a jeweller came to her as an evidence.
Alyssa’s birthday at Lolipops playground
For Alyssa’s third birthday party, I tried to express the genuine moments through playing around with different compositions, highlights and some creative angles. Alyssa’s parents made sure the children had the perfect recipe for a magical time: an amazing playground, the closest friends, tasty food and a beautiful Frozen themed cake.
Diversity Festival at the Vodafone Event Center
I had the opportunity to photograph the Diversity festival at the Vodafone Event Centre. This beautiful and colourful event gathers about 400 children from schools around Auckland. They get the chance to train all year long with amazing teachers and music industry professionals, to perform amazing chorals at the end of August. What a great event to document!
Auckland Museum Shop
As part of the ongoing NZ artefacts collection, I photographed more items for the Auckland Museum online store. There was a bigger variety of unique jade pendants, jewellery and tikis along with traditional maori wood carvings. NZ family games and children’s books were also part of this time’s collection. The biggest focus however, was on red poppy artefacts in remembrance of our soldiers for the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Rem
Don Mc Galshan
I had the huge privilege to portrait the talented kiwi songwriter and musician Don Mc Galshan for his last CD promotion : “Lucky Stars Parts”. Rather than editorial it had to be a bit more formal. But still it needed to tell the story of this man : creative, sensitive, relax but still smart.
Cloud 9: A reality in Fiji
Here is a very exciting photo project I have been working on, while in Fiji and am really excited to share it. Cloud 9 is a stunning bar in the middle of the most beautiful reef with its clear water and thousands fishes. You can snorkel, swim, jump, relax, read, chill, socialise, drink a beautiful cocktail or eat a yummy wood fired oven pizza. This island bar is a real piece of heaven. An absolute Must do in Fiji!
Before / After : and Victoria was born
About three months ago I have shared the beautiful experience of photographying Lucie while pregnant of Victoria. Only 10 days after her birth she gave me a second visit to my studio with her gorgeous miracle.
Magic on a pregnancy photo shoot
I couldn’t have ended 2014 any better than with this magical studio photo shoot of Lucie at the 7th month of her first pregnancy. Lucie has this natural charm and glow about her that radiates some sort of magic to everyone around her.
Exclusively Aotearoa
I recently did a photo shoot that I’d love to share with the world. The Auckland Museum recently acquired a new range of kiwi pieces and Jessa Cochrane and I styled the artefacts for the latest addition to their online store. The pieces were simply magnificent! Entirely done by NZ craftsmen and artists, each of the artefacts contained elements of jade or maori koru and tiki symbols and a few other elements that made them exclusively unique to New-Zealand.
Two Auckland designers : perfect power team
It’s always very special, witnessing two minds work as one to create an amazing product – synergy at it’s best. I recently got the awesome opportunity of doing a photo shoot for the perfect power team : Two Auckland based designers from Grey Lynn, with a unique eye for fashion blending their different styles for a Fashion Show.
Romance in Paris
It was an honour to do a shoot for Celine Hetroit, a talented dress designer based in Paris, France. She has designed for the bride-to-be, a couple of beautiful wedding dresses.

50th wedding anniversary
I’m so happy to share a few photographs from this stunning 50th wedding anniversary which took place in Auckland last month, since they had their wedding in the Mint Springs Farm that is a great wedding location. What a blast to be part of this event! As you can see it was an afternoon full of significance and emotion across the generations. In this main photo tears of joy filled the eyes of the golden jubilee couple as they opened this beautiful anniversary present. A 50th wedding anniversary is an incredible milestone!! Congratulations to the happy couple, lovely Barbar and Dereyck. What a success – so many beautiful children, grandchildren and so much love.
Volunteering photographer for Sustainable Coastline
Here is a volunteer photo job I have done for Sustainable Coastline. This association is amazing : they organize regularly rubbish collection around New Zealand to clean the coast, as well as they teach to young student at school the importance of taking care to the environment.
