Bejing (China):

Laura, 24, works since October 2008 in Bejing for the PFCE Association (French-Chinese electricity partnership) with a VIE contract (Voluntary Internatinal work for an Industry). She lives in the traditional Dongcheng District, famous for its small streets: the « hutongs ».

Harold, 25, is journalist. He writes for «Aujourd’hui la Chine» (China today), it is a French language website with chinese news. He has left France a year and a half, he is from Paris. He likes photos and to travel a lot, and is passionnated by Asia.

Auckland (New Zealand):

Aurélien, 27, is engineer for DHI (a Danish compagny) in Auckland for two years. He lives in Ponsonby since january 2008.

Laurence, 26, is studying sylist design. She lives in Auckland for 2 years. Sha had worked as a nurses before she decided to start studies again. She is from Paris and her life here is like a new start.

Wellington:

Benoit, 32, lives in Wellington for 4 years. He works for Telecom NZ and is a web programmer. He has also opened a coffee with a French friend : Sébastien. The coffee’name is: «Mon Ami» (www.mon-ami.co.nz). He is also in love with nature…

Waimate:

Dominique, just retired, lives in Waimate (South Island) since 1984, 4 years after she met her austrlian husband, that she met in France. They have a biodynamic garden, certified Demeter.

New Caledonia:

Benoît, 27, integrated to the Kanak Meindu tribe. He met his wife over there, lives there for 9 years. He has now a son and participates to the traditions of this tribe.

Mathieu, 39, lives fo 15 years in Nouméa. He is painter, graphist artist, sculpter… His life overthere helped him to evolves and find his way in its creations.

Australia:

Armand, 25, lives up north to Cairns since January 2007. After his studies on marketing in France he went to Port Douglas. He was fisrt barman and works now for the Peninsula Hostel. He is currently the manager of the restaurant, which faces the beach, and starts to learn the managment in this hostel. It will allow him to get the australian nationality on january 2011.

Pierre lives in Sydney for 45 years. He used to collect arboriganal art since 1964 in artifacts and then in paintings since 1985. He is also director of a wool counter.
