The process

Portrait of Andrew Harre, a restaurant owner and oenologist, Paris (Fish, la boissonnerie, rue de Seine). A New Zealender who has been living in France for the past 34 years. Next to him is a Pukeka, a symbol and an endemic bird of his native country.


This project carries a particular vision of a young curious photographer who knows how to discretely move behind her objective in order to bring out sometimes spontaneous images, but nevertheless true.
These images of hers show these young migrants in their living space, work space, at work and surrounded by their new friends. And, sometimes pictures are set up cliches, portraits with a deeper esthetical look, all the while focusing on presenting the subject surrounded by his new objects, favorite places or simply his environment.
Photographs are accompanied by the story drawn from the answers to the questions I asked…
